ever since Rick Santorum said that bullshit comment about Obama wanting kids to go to college so they could be indoctrinated with the liberal agenda, I get this burning desire every few hours to just like, rip off my clothes and paint ‘INDOCTRINATED BY LIBERAL PROFESSORS’ on my body and scream and scream and screeeaaammm.
wanting an education, getting an education, and thinking that education is GOOD does not make you a snob. there are of course people that can’t get the education they want, and implying that people who go to college are better because they have the money/resources/etc to do it WOULD be a problem. BUT WANTING TO MAKE EDUCATION AVAILABLE TO MORE PEOPLE- HOW CAN YOU BE AGAINST THAT AND SLEEP AND NIGHT AND BE OK WITH YOURSELF.

that’s really what he’s implying here and THAT’S what’s really pissing me off. the liberal indoctrination bullshit is nonsensical and frankly unsurprising but implying that it is ridiculous and SNOBBISH to think of providing more of america with more educational opportunities…i can’t even wrap my mind around it. there are hard working, good men and women that have never been to college- of course, and that’s great. but if higher education was more accessible to the number of these people that perhaps did want to go to college but could not because of [insert reason(s)], how is shaming them for being liberal snobs a fucking decent thing to do?
